Where and How?
I am located in Orange County, NY and provide photographic services throughout the scenic Hudson Valley. Sessions typically happen wherever your family is comfortable and doing what they love to do! We have a variety of gorgeous outdoor locations to choose from or sessions can happen in the comfort of your own home. I use a combination of very lightly prompted and completely unprompted techniques to capture your family's unique story. Your story will never look like anyone else's story. Sessions are laid back, go with the flow, and fun.
What is included?
Your session fee includes your session experience, as well as the time, talent, and experience of the photographer. It also includes a limited number of digital image downloads and photographic prints, depending on the session type. Upgrades and additional print products are available. Each image is professionally edited as an individual piece of art. Session rates start at $425.
Documentary Family
Family sessions are designed to capture your everyday life and activities in an honest, artful, and unfiltered way. Sessions can happen in a variety of locations including your home, your yard, a farm, a bowling alley, or even the grocery store! The length of the session is dependent upon what you would like to document photographically, and ranges from one to eight hours.
Newborn
Newborn sessions typically happen in the comfort of your own home. I recommend that newborn sessions happen within the first two weeks of baby's birth.
Family Mini Sessions
Family Mini Sessions provide an opportunity for clients of Melanie Paquin Photography to have a more traditional family portrait made. These mini sessions take a directed approach in making your family photos by using fun and simple prompts. Mini sessions are typically 20 minutes long and are only offered twice each year, once in the spring and once in the fall, at a specific location.
Events
Events should include everyone! Too often, the person hosting the event is not in the pictures or there are no pictures at all! Event sessions are designed to capture all of the important moments and interactions in an honest and unscripted/unposed way. Interested in actually being in the photographs of your next event?
